    • The Post Office and Package Center is located inside the NDSU Bookstore and is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm and closed weekends and holidays. We offer most services and benefits offered by USPS. PLEASE NOTE: There is also a mail drop located inside the south entrance of the Memorial Union.



    • The Herd Shop store is located right next to the NDSU Bookstore in the Memorial Union. We offer sports drinks, soda, water, natural foods and juices, candy, chips, ice cream, newspapers, health & beauty items, opscans and bluebooks, .



    • We have a vending machine located at Richard H. Barry Hall. The vending machine contains blue books, highlighters, DVD-Rs, CD-Rs, index cards, pencils, pens, ear phones, and batteries.



    • General Merchandise Return Policy:

      • All refunds must be within 30 days of purchase. A register receipt is required for all returns. Without a register receipt, merchandise may be exchanged or store credit issued, minus a 30% restocking fee.
      • If you are returning an item purchased online, please fill out this return form and include it with the shipped item.
      • If you would like to exchange and item purchased online, a payment method must be presented in-store along with proof of purchase.
      • Computer hardware cannot be returned if it has been opened. Defective computer hardware is covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
      • Merchandise must be in new condition and in original packaging.
      • Defective merchandise returned in its original packaging will be exchanged for the exact merchandise only. If we no longer carry the merchandise, a store credit will be issued.
    • Non-returnable merchandise:

      • Art markers, paints and spray adhesives.
      • All clearance items are considered final sale, and may not be returned.
      • Software, DVD’s and CD’s may not be returned once opened.
    • Course Materials Return Policy

      Store merchandise buyers reserve the right to determine exceptions to the above policies.

    • Refunds are returned in the original method of payment only. Purchases made by personal check-allow 7 days before cash refund is given.

    • Job openings at the NDSU Bookstore can be found on the NDSU employment portal. Student employment applications can be printed out and completed and are also available at the Customer Service Desk in the NDSU Bookstore. We will keep all applications on file for one year even if no positions are currently available.
